For your stay in the Alpes de Haute-Provence, your Calme & Nature campsite in Castellane is a peaceful holiday destination in a superb natural setting where life is good.
Your days will be filled with activities to discover the Gorges du Verdon: hikes, visits to the natural and cultural heritage, outdoor activities, gourmet walks… and punctuated by small obligations such as running errands to organise your daily life on holiday.
There’s nothing like a moment’s respite at the campsite at the end of the day to relax on your camping pitch, the terrace of your Mobile Home, Ecolodge or Chalet.
If the children are still feeling restless, they can take advantage of the play area, let off steam on the trampoline, try their hand at table tennis or pétanque.
Now’s the time to relax with a good book, magazine or tourist brochure to plan your next outing, and sip a quiet refreshment in the campsite bar.
And don’t forget the campsite’s evening snack bar with pizzas, burgers and salads, so you can relax a little longer and keep the whole family happy!
Our little extras:
Loan of bicycles
City bicycles (adult size) are available for easy access to the village of Castellane (10 mins via the GR4). Don’t miss out!
Trampoline
Set up next to the petanque pitch, the trampoline is accessible to children up to 10 years old.
Play area
Located next to the restaurant-bar terrace, the play house and slide, designed for children under 7, provide a safe place to have fun.
Petanque pitch
Whether you’re a novice or a keen petanque player, the pitch is available to all our campers for friendly outdoor games. We can supply the boules if you wish.
Table tennis
A game of table tennis is always fun for young and old alike, so don’t hesitate to challenge your opponents in fair play! We’ll supply the rackets.

Animals on the campsite
Below the campsite, in the field facing the stream, you can pay a visit to our donkey and goat. Just 1 warning: don’t feed them!
